Belaj Castle

Castle Belaj is a historic estate dating back to the 16th century, featuring a distinguished castle along with two annexes that include a court, prison, wine cellar, stables, and a management room for the estate. Surrounded by 11 hectares of historical vineyards, the castle has been associated with the Ausperg and Barbo families throughout its rich history. Today, Castle Belaj stands as the only chateau in Croatia with a legacy in winemaking, boasting two wineries: Dvorac Belaj and Podrum Belaj. The on-site restaurant embraces a farm-to-table philosophy with its motto of 0km food, ensuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. This picturesque venue serves as an ideal location for events, blending historical charm with culinary excellence.
