BMA House

BMA House, located in Tavistock Square, London WC1H, is a historic Grade II listed building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1911. It has been home to the British Medical Association since 1925 and offers a versatile and elegant setting for various events, including meetings, conferences, and special occasions.

The Great Hall features a bespoke Hybrid Virtual Studio designed to seamlessly integrate virtual and in-person elements for an immersive experience.

• Hybrid Event Capabilities: BMA House is one of the country’s leading hybrid venues. The Great Hall, in particular, offers a unique blend of historical features like Corinthian columns and gold-leaf detailing with modern AV facilities. • Paget Room

• Capacity: Up to 56 guests
• Features: Outdoor access to the Courtyard, original Spanish mahogany panelling, feature tiling, and powerful A/V facilities. Ideal for smaller conferences or breakout sessions.

• Snow Room

• Capacity: Similar to the Paget Room
• Features: Direct access to the Courtyard, light and bright atmosphere, removable stage, and high-spec A/V equipment. Designed to inspire creativity and suitable for various conference settings.

• Bevan Suite

• Capacity: Up to 56 guests
• Features: Art Deco features, domed and barrelled ceiling, in-built PA system, induction loop, and video conferencing amenities. Ideal for inspiring creativity and hosting smaller conferences[5].

• Prince’s Room

• Capacity: Up to 90 guests
• Features: Corinthian columns, gold-leaf detailing, impressive chandelier, fireplace, large windows, and domed ceiling. Access to the marble foyer makes it an ideal space for pre/post-event drinks[5].

• Harvey Room

• Capacity: Up to 42 guests
• Features: Views of the London city skyline from the third floor, removable stage, in-built PA system, projector, and all necessary A/V facilities. Suitable for meetings and presentations[5].

• Courtyard

• Capacity: Up to 320 guests
• Features: Tranquil outdoor space accessible via wrought iron gates, beautiful fountain centrepiece, and an air of tranquillity away from the central London buzz.

• Garden

• Capacity: Up to 90 guests
• Features: Carefully chosen shrubs, plants, and flowers with medicinal qualities, a pond in the centre, and a beautiful backdrop for any event, especially at sunset.

• Sustainability: BMA House is committed to sustainability, having reduced its delegate carbon footprint by 69% over the last four years and achieving a Gold accreditation with Green Tourism. The venue also supports healthy events with delegates’ wellbeing at the forefront of all menu planning.

• Catering: The venue partners with CH&CO to provide seasonal, sustainable catering. The menus focus on sustaining concentration and nourishing delegates with wholesome food.
