Club Aliga

Location not recorded

During the Kádár era Club Aliga functioned as the resort of the communist state party. It was privatised in the early 2000s. In recent years the building became popular target of government-friendly businessmen. Nowdays it is owned by Attila Balázs’s company: he’s also known by his close business-relations to István Tiborcz, the son-in-law of PM Orbán. For the investment – which is often criticized by locals and NGO’s due to it’s environmental effects – Balázs’s company received 999,92 million forint subsidy.
