Evergreen Museum & Library, located at 4545 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210, offers a unique and historic setting for meetings, conferences, and events. The venue is housed in a stunning 19th-century Gilded Age mansion surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and a historic Carriage House.

Function Rooms and Capacities

• Gardens and Terrace:

• Capacity: Up to 400 guests for fully tented events, 170 guests for ceremonies, and 220 guests for receptions.
• Features: Seasonal gardens with bright colors in spring, lush greenery in summer, and a warm, cozy feel in fall. The large Terrace features high wrought iron railings and lovely Tiffany glass, perfect for cocktail hours and ceremonies.

• Carriage House:

• Capacity: Up to 150 seated guests and 225 standing guests.
• Features: Rustic charm with original woodwork, exposed brick, and a tented awning. It serves as a rain location for outdoor events and can host indoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.

• Upper Garden:

• Capacity: Suitable for intimate ceremonies and gatherings.
• Features: Seasonal flowers and a beautiful stone fountain, creating a perfect setting for saying vows.

Services

• Venue Manager: Included with rental to assist with event planning and coordination.

• Security: One security guard is provided to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

• Tables and Chairs: Tables and chairs are provided for use in the Carriage House and limited tables and chairs are available for cocktail receptions on the Terrace.

• Preparation Suite: Available one hour prior to the ceremony start time if held in the Gardens.

• Rehearsal Time: A complimentary hour of time is scheduled for the rehearsal, based on availability.

• Setup and Breakdown Time: Events utilizing the Gardens, Terrace, and Carriage House include 4 hours of setup, while events utilizing only the Carriage House include 3 hours of setup.
