Freeman Arts Pavilion

• Monumental Staircase Lounge:

• Capacity: Varies depending on the setup.
• Function: Located in the atrium area near rooms 131 and 134, this space is open to the public and receives natural light. There is an hourly rate for all groups who wish to use the space.

• Heritage Hall Kitchen:

• Capacity: Varies depending on the setup.
• Function: Attached to Heritage Hall but also accessible to the public area of the HUB. The space includes a refrigerator, sinks, prep table, and tiled floor. A minimum of 30 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for teardown is required, and there is a daily rate for all groups.

• Information Tables:

• Capacity: 10 tables available.
• Function: Provided for Registered Student Organizations and University Departments for education, fundraising, and promotion. Only one table may be reserved per organization per day, and it can only be reserved for 5 consecutive days.

• Main Lounge Tables:

• Capacity: 6 tables available.
• Function: Known as philanthropic tables, these are primarily used for charitable non-profit activities. They are also available to promote University-wide or nationally recognized events. Reservations can be made a week prior to the date if the activity does not meet the philanthropic criteria.

Event Facilities

While the Freeman Arts Pavilion is primarily a performing arts venue, it does not have dedicated meeting or conference rooms. Parking and Shuttle Services

• Parking: Free but limited, with accessible parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. Carpooling is encouraged.

• Shuttle Services: The Park & Ride Shuttle is available from 36258 Zion Church Road, Selbyville, DE 19975. The shuttle runs throughout the evening, with pick-up starting at 6 p.m., and runs every 15 minutes. Jolly Trolley also offers pay-per-seat transportation for select performances.

Venue Policies

• Security: Chairs in carrying bags must be removed before entering security lines. Canopies on chairs need to be put down at the start of the performance.

• Food and Beverages: No outside food or beverages are allowed, including reusable water bottles and stainless steel koozies. Soft koozies, empty Freeman Arts Pavilion wine carafes, and empty refillable water bottles are permitted.

• Smoking: The venue is smoke-free, including electronic smoking devices.

• Tailgating: Prohibited.
