Hopp Ferenc Ázsiai Művészeti Múzeum

The Asiatic Arts Museum is a unique cultural institution in Hungary, dedicated to Eastern art and artifacts. Founded in 1919 by the world traveler and art collector Ferenc Hopp, the museum houses a remarkable collection of approximately 4,000 items collected during his global journeys and major world exhibitions. The museum features rotating exhibitions and a diverse array of cultural artifacts, including a Japanese stone lantern, a carved Indian elephant, and a Chinese stone turtle, among others. Surrounding the museum is a beautifully landscaped oriental garden, recently renovated in 2014, which is home to a variety of Asian plants and provides a serene setting ideal for deep conversations, meditation, and relaxation.
