Hunguest Hotels, the chain of Lőrinc Mészáros – richest person of Hungary – received 17,7 billions of government subsidies for renovation. Hunguest Hotel Flóra got the most of it: the hotel of Eger received 2,8 billion forints. This support means twice as much as the subsidy for the local government on the account of the losses caused by the pandemic.
