De Schaffelaar Castle was once built by a Barneveld baron. The baron spared no expense on his new move and that is clearly visible. Two and a half million red bricks were brought in and a huge amount of marble came from Italy. The castle is characterized by the corner turrets, balustrades and marble details. But also because of the beautiful green surroundings. Nowhere in the Netherlands can you find a castle in this style that has been so well preserved!

Rooms and spaces for every moment of the day

With its intimate lounges, large halls and a beautiful wine cellar, the castle is suitable for groups of up to 400 people, but groups of 100 people can also enjoy themselves here. For the plenary session you walk to the large Baron van Nagellzaal, after which the smaller rooms are perfect for subsessions. Afterwards, enjoy a drink with delicious snacks in the wine cellar or in the sun on the landing. The food team obviously takes good care of the guests with (h) honest and sustainable dishes.
