Le Bateau

Le Bateau is located on the Muinkkaai in Ghent, at the back of the Vooruit. At a stone's throw from one of the busiest squares in Ghent, Le Bateau is an oasis of tranquility, protected by the Kaaimuur.

Le Bateau has been specially designed to accommodate the widest possible range of events. Our sober, but stylish interior can be the background for an important business meeting, an original staff party, a fabulous birthday party or an unforgettable intimate wedding party!

The ship's hold is a warm, intimate space with a maximum capacity of 80 people for a seated party, up to about 100 people for a reception or walking dinner. Also an ideal backdrop for a dance party!

The room is very flexible and suitable for any setup. Standing tables and bar stools are available according to offer. Additional furniture can be rented according to the customer's wishes from an external supplier.

Our room also continues to exude a luxurious effect for smaller parties. Heating and air conditioning ensure the perfect temperature.

During the summer months, the ship's deck has been converted into a radiant lounge terrace. In good weather an ideal place to start your party. Shade sails create an attractive character during the summer months. In bad weather and during the winter months, part of the terrace can be covered with a stylish tent, so that the weather gods cannot spoil the fun.

There is ample parking space in Parking Zuid. Within walking distance are also the car park under the Sint-Pietersplein, the car park under the Kouter and the Reep.
