Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC KL) is a popular venue located within Mid Valley Megamall, strategically situated between Kuala Lumpur’s Central Business District and Petaling Jaya. Since its inception in mid-2001, MVEC has successfully hosted various events such as exhibitions, seminars, concerts, and consumer fairs.
Meeting, Conference, and Event Facilities
Total Venue Space:
MVEC offers a total venue space of 60,000 square feet, designed to be pillar-less with generous ceiling height and minimal wall obstruction, making it an ideal space for large events.
Exhibition Halls:
The center has three spacious exhibition halls:
- Hall 1: 1,645 sqm (17,707 sqft), approximately 49.8 x 33 x 7 meters.
- Hall 2: 1,604 sqm (17,265 sqft), approximately 47.5 x 33.3 x 7 meters.
- Hall 3: 1,256 sqm (13,519 sqft), approximately 50.3 x 24.5 x 7 meters.
Function Rooms:
In addition to the exhibition halls, MVEC has several function rooms:
- Function Room A: Approximately 58 sqm (624 sqft), ideal for smaller gatherings.
- Function Room B: Approximately 72 sqm (775 sqft), also suitable for smaller events.
Services
Exhibition Support Facilities:
MVEC provides excellent exhibition support facilities, including:
- A floor trench system for running essential services to designated locations safely.
- Two press conference/VIP holding rooms.
- Two purpose-built cargo and goods lifts to facilitate freight movement directly to the center.
- Each hall has its own management office, public address system, industrial wash area, and other amenities.
Accessibility:
The venue is easily accessible via a network of roads, highways, and the Mid Valley KTM commuter station, which brings in around 10,000 passengers daily. The center is equipped with:
- 5 pairs of passenger lifts available on every floor.
- 1 pair of escalators from Level P2 to Level LG and 3 pairs from Level LG to Level 3.
- Service lifts and cargo lifts for efficient movement of goods and personnel.
