National Museum of Crime & Punishment

Established in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is a nonprofit organization focused on honoring fallen law enforcement personnel and enhancing the safety of those who serve. Central to its mission is the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial located in Washington, D.C., which commemorates 23,785 officers who have died in the line of duty throughout U.S. history. The organization also publishes detailed accounts of line-of-duty deaths to inform and improve officer safety and wellness. Additionally, it operates the National Law Enforcement Museum, dedicated to preserving the history of American law enforcement and sharing the stories of service and sacrifice for future generations.
