The aim of the Petőfi Literary Museum is to collect and explore the Hungarian literary heritage as fully as possible, to present and communicate classical and contemporary Hungarian literature in a multifaceted way, in the spirit of promoting a cultural identity that embraces the diversity of the world and supports the mother tongue and cultural identity.
