Plovdiv University Sports Hall

The University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski" features a modern sports training hall, recognized as one of the best facilities not only among higher education institutions in Bulgaria but also in comparison to many large cities. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 14, 2011, led by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boyko Borisov. The hall was inaugurated just a few months later, on June 14, 2012, by the same Prime Minister alongside the Minister of Physical Education and Sports and the rector of the university, in the presence of various officials, community leaders, sports figures, students, and faculty. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to support both academic and athletic pursuits, contributing to the university's commitment to comprehensive education and training.
