Scheels Arena

The modern arena, with a capacity of 31,500, serves as the home for the MSV Duisburg soccer team, located in Duisburg-Wedau since the early 1960s. Opened in 2005, it replaced the historic Wedaustadion after two years of construction. This venue has witnessed numerous significant moments in the club's history, including promotions, celebrations, and demotions. Should the walls and seats of the stadium be able to speak, they would recount tales of the Bundesliga promotion in 2005, the victorious DFB-Pokal semifinal in 2011, and the team's resurgence in 2015. The stadium also offers tours and features a club gift shop, providing fans and visitors with an immersive experience of the team's legacy.
