Sultan’s HammamSultan’s Hammam

The Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hammam, built in 1556 for Süleyman the Magnificent, is celebrated as one of the most authentic and well-preserved hammams, featuring separate entrances for men and women. Its architectural design boasts a symmetrical shape and flawless lines, making it a notable gem in its field. After serving the public for 350 years, it fell into disuse by 1910, being repurposed as a storage area and later as a local rug market. A meticulous renovation in 2012 restored the hammam to its original splendor, creating a captivating atmosphere that enchants visitors. Additionally, the sauna can accommodate private groups of up to 40 guests, enhancing its appeal as a unique venue for relaxation and social gatherings.
