TD Arena

Meeting and Event Facilities

1. McAlister Suite:

• Capacity: 175 people (banquet style), 250 people (reception style), 400 people (lecture style)
• Features: Sweeping views of downtown Charleston, floor-to-ceiling windows, large outdoor terrace, built-in projector and screen, built-in sound system with aux hookup and microphones, internet connection (both wired and wireless), two 50-inch cable access televisions, motorized shades for all exterior windows, vaulted ceiling, and flags (USA and South Carolina available upon request).
• ADA Accommodations: Accessible via elevator from the first floor lobby, ADA accessible restrooms located just outside the suite on the third floor.

2. TD Arena:

• Capacity: 5,100 seats for basketball and volleyball events
• Features: Open concourse to the playing court, team store, hospitality suite, athletic training facility, team lounges/locker rooms, faculty/staff locker rooms, sports information department, box office, media room, and athletic administrative offices.
• ADA Accommodations: Accessible via handicap ramp at the front entrance on Meeting Street and an elevator in the lobby.

3. Conference Room 209:

• Capacity: Lecture style seating for approximately 400 people
• Features: Computer connected to television and projector, conference call capability, internet connection (both wired and wireless).

4. Media Room:

• Capacity: Flexible seating for various configurations
• Features: Podium, portable television stand with TV and HDMI hookup, portable sound system with two speakers, an aux hookup, and two wired microphones, internet connection (both wired and wireless).

Event Services

• Audio/Visual Assistance: All audio and visual needs must be emailed to Kelsea McGrogan no later than 48 hours before the event. Equipment includes podiums, wireless handheld microphones, built-in sound systems, and internet connections.

• Event Layouts: Inform Kelsea McGrogan of your event layout no later than 48 hours before your event. Custom event setups can be tailored to your needs.

• Rental Fees: The daily rental fee includes all equipment, set-up and tear-down, audio-visual support, and facility staffing during regular business hours. Custodial services are available for an additional $20/hour fee.

Parking and Logistics

• Parking: Ample city parking options are available around TD Arena, including ticketed surface lots, garages, and street parking. The loading dock on Burns Lane at the rear of TD Arena can be used for loading and unloading equipment.
