The Monument

The Monument, formerly known as the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, is a 500,000-square-foot exhibition center located at 444 Mt. Rushmore Road, Rapid City, South Dakota. It serves as the main event center for the Black Hills Region, hosting various large annual events and providing extensive meeting, conference, and event facilities.

• Function: Ideal for sporting events, tradeshows, and conventions with 34,500 square feet of uninterrupted floor space.

• Fine Arts Theatre:

• Capacity: 1,690 seats
• Function: Comfortably accommodates touring Broadway productions and local dance school recitals with clear and close-up views of the stage and excellent acoustics.

Convention Space

• Rushmore Hall:

• Capacity: 41,000 square feet
• Function: Large convention hall suitable for various events and gatherings.

• LaCroix Hall:

• Capacity: 16,000 square feet
• Function: Another large convention hall with ample space for meetings and events.
