Thomas Assembly Center

The Thomas Assembly Center (TAC) is an 8,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Ruston, Louisiana, and serves as the home for the Louisiana Tech University Bulldogs and Lady Techsters basketball teams, as well as the Lady Techster volleyball program. Meeting and Event Facilities

• Main Arena:

• Capacity: 8,000 seats
• Function: Hosts basketball games, concerts, and various events.
• Services: High-definition video display board (Paul Millsap Vision), LED center hung video displays, LED ribbon board displays, corner courtside displays, a customized sound system, and a video board control room.

• Concourse Level:

• Function: Provides ample space for concessions, restrooms, and accessibility areas.
• Services: Four convenient concession areas with a full line of snack foods, handicapped accessible areas with companion seats, and handicapped accessible parking.

• Renovations and Upgrades:

• The arena has undergone several renovations, including the installation of a new state-of-the-art Maplewood floor in 2007, courtesy of Karl Malone. LED lighting was installed inside and outside the arena prior to the 2020-21 season.
• The locker rooms and coach's offices have also been renovated in recent years.

• Event Services:

• The TAC offers a variety of event services, including customized sound systems, video display boards, and LED lighting.

• Accessibility:

• Seating Chart and Ticket Information:

• Individual game and season tickets are available for Louisiana Tech men's and women's basketball games. The LA Tech Ticket Office is located on the east side of the Thomas Assembly Center and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m., as well as on game days for advance sales.

• Tobacco Policy:

• Alcoholic beverages are prohibited by state law, and smoking is also prohibited inside the stadium and within 25 feet of any gate.

• Lost and Found:

• Lost items can be turned in and claimed at the first aid stations on either side of the stadium. Following games, items will be taken to the Tech Athletics Facilities Office located in the Thomas Assembly Center.

• Prohibited Items:

• Outside food or drink, ice chests or coolers, umbrellas, laser pointers/lights, video cameras, and oversized bags are not allowed inside the arena. All bags are subject to search, and weapons are strictly prohibited.

• Public Address System:

• The public address system is for official use only, and no special announcements will be made over the PA system. Emergency situations can be reported to the security personnel at the entrance to the press box.

• Restrooms:

• Restrooms are located on both the north and south ends of the arena on the concourse level.

• Will Call:

• The Louisiana Tech Box Office and Will Call will open five hours prior to kickoff and will be located on the East side of the Thomas Assembly Center.
