Trixxo Theater Hasselt

The Congress Theatre, the former Hall 4 of the Grenslandhallen, was thoroughly renovated in the summer of 2013 into a state-of-the-art music theater that was renamed Ethias Theater at the start of the new season. The hall can now receive about 3,000 visitors, making it unique in the province of Limburg.

The Ethias Theater has 2,000 seats with luxurious seating comfort due to a legroom of 60 centimeters or 1,500 seats and 1,500 standing places. Visitors have a very good view, even from the last rows. Wheelchair users can also enjoy a performance here without any problems.

Under the grandstand structure is an attractive foyer, where visitors can enjoy a snack and a drink, and a new sanitary cluster. A duplex in this new foyer can be used as a VIP space for about 150 guests. In the adjacent old part, catering or VIP facilities can be created for around 2,500 people if desired. The former stage area with the stage tower has been preserved. Behind it, a sanitary room and changing room were added. Two new stairwells were built in addition to the new-build section. A separate entrance ensures that the Ethias Theater can function completely separately from the other spaces of the Grenslandhallen.

Due to the good acoustics and the presence of a stage tower, this space is extremely suitable for concerts, shows and opera or theater performances. In addition, the hall can be used for trade fairs, conferences and company parties.
