Van Nelle Fabriek Events

Your modern event in a historical monument? The Van Nelle Factory (1930), built from the principles of Light, Air and Space, is regarded as the most prominent building in the 'New Building' movement. After Van Nelle left the factories, the entire complex was redeveloped to its current destination. Where previously Tobacco, Coffee and Tea were processed, now more than 10,000 m2 is used for corporate events, fairs, meetings, parties and conferences. The various rooms make the location suitable for meetings from 2 to 5,000 people.

The nostalgic rooms are fully equipped with all modern facilities such as design furniture, the latest technology and super fast WiFi. The environment with the themes of Light, Air and Space inspires every time to a beautiful interpretation of your event. For each event we look at how the spaces can best be arranged, with our wide diversity of rooms, almost anything is possible! Our experienced team is happy to advise you.

Sustainable and green!

In the Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek we attach great importance to responsible and committed entrepreneurship. We have been in possession of the Golden Green Key for many years and in 2008 the factory received the A label for sustainable monument management from the Government Buildings Agency of the former Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment. The Fair Trade products are also included in our standard range. Of course we would like to think about how we can take care of your event as sustainably as possible!

Good accessibility

The Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek is extremely easy to reach from various directions. The factory is located on the outskirts of Rotterdam directly on the A20, exit Spanish Polder. Parking is no problem; we have a large private parking lot. The location is also easily accessible by public transport, you are at our location in just 15 minutes from Rotterdam Central Station. And you can even reach the Van Nelle Ontwerpfabriek by boat or helicopter!
