Wine Cellar Šipčanik

The Šipčanik wine cellar is a unique venue located in a restored Yugoslav People's Army underground aircraft hangar, which was previously the site of an explosion in 1999 that destroyed several aircraft. Operated by one of Eastern Europe's largest wine producers, 13 Jul Plantaže AD from Podgorica, Montenegro, the facility has been transformed into a charming wine cellar and event space ideal for various occasions. Visitors can engage in protocol events, conferences, and explore the rich culture of wine production in the region. Since its renovation in 2007, the cellar has become a significant attraction for both tourists and event organizers, marking the beginning of a flourishing era of wine tourism in Montenegro.
