At Zand Stories we have three beautiful meeting rooms available: Our authentic Coffee Corner, the Zand Café in our Beach Tent and the historic White Hall. A cultural tribute

The world's largest indoor sand sculpture exhibition is in an unexpected place. On an old factory site at the harbor of the fortified town of Elburg you will find an exhibition that art-loving Netherlands would not expect to see here: Sand Stories. An exhibition that pays tribute to the rich cultural history that the Netherlands has with the Bible stories.

Unique experience

In three large halls with a total surface area of approximately 5000m², no less than 4000m³ of sand from the Markermeer has been used for more than 300 beautiful sculptures. The statues vary from 3 centimeters small to 8 meters high. The sand sculptures are flanked by centuries-old olive trees and beautiful objects such as old botters, meter-high lock doors, original doors from the Middle East and wrought iron gates. A visit to the Sand Stories exhibition is a unique experience for young and old.
